WIZ VIRAF SARKARI

DIRECTOR

Viraf Sarkari, a dynamic professional and well-known personality in the field of entertainment is one of the founders of Wizcraft and a Director of Wiz Films.

A diploma holder in Hotel Management, Viraf’s diverse experience includes partnering the most happening night clubs in the 80s – Xanadu, Rock Around the Clock, Aloha, Fireball and Velocity to name a few.

He is also the creative mind behind creation of Kingdom of Dreams – A live Entertainment destination in Gurgaon.

Over the years, Viraf has strengthened his creative & technical expertise and expanded the organization’s scope of business in India and across the globe. Viraf has produced and directed some noteworthy Broadway styled Musical Productions including Zangoora – the world’s biggest & Longest running Bollywood musical show at The Kingdom of Dreams running for over 10 years having staged over 3000 shows, Jaan-e-Jigar, at Dubai Parks & Resorts (staged over 250 shows), Balle Balle – The Big Fat Indian Wedding for World Touring (staged over 300 shows), Creative Producer of Jhumroo, running for over 7 years with a run of approximately 2000 shows.

He is also the Producer and Director of several Global Sporting Opening & Closing Ceremonies such as The Commonwealth Games, Delhi 2010, World Cup Hockey, IPL, ISL, Global concerts with Michael Jackson, Global Citizen Festival featuring Coldplay, JayZ & many more, Film Award Ceremonies such as IIFA and Mega National Celebrations 50th years of Indian Independence, Make in India Launch etc

Viraf has now forayed into producing & directing innovative & engaging content for OTT platforms & Cinema releases like Web Series, Docu Series, Feature Films, Ad Films, Music Videos etc

Viraf is current producing & directing a Docu Series, Beyond the Star - Salman Khan & producing a untitled feature film starring Pankaj Tripathy, Sanjana Sanghi, Parvathy Thiruvathu & Jaya Ahsan & directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

WIZ SABREENA SARKARI

IN-HOUSE CONTENT DIRECTOR

Sabreena Sarkari is a filmmaker from Mumbai, India. She discovered her passion for filmmaking and soon began her journey in cinema in Los Angeles where she studied and practiced the craft. Her repertoire of work extends to different mediums ranging from Events, Theatre, Web shows, Ad Films and Virtual Reality.

Her experience began with assisting various directors at the esteemed IIFA Awards and on television shows like Indian Idol after which she began Creative Directing of theatricals and stage shows like Balle Balle, Global Citizen to name a few. She worked and led a documentary project with Emmy award-winning director Bill Duke during her stint in Los Angeles. Her keen interest in the digital space has led her to direct two shows in Virtual Reality which included a performance lineup of artists like Shaggy, Mika Singh, Sukhbir, Ravi drums, and Sivamani, Neha Kakkar, Dj Kilogram, Honey Singh, and Sajid khan.

Currently, she's directing a never seen before documentary which is an intimate peak into the life of one of India’s biggest superstars. The documentary series is titled Beyond The Star and is featuring none other than Salman Khan. The documentary series is currently in its first season. The next season will explore another famous personality and dwell deeper into the making of a mega-star.

WIZ ANOSH SARKARI

IN-HOUSE CONTENT DIRECTOR

Anosh an alumni of New York Film Academy, decided at a young age that he wanted to tell stories. Film was the most fascinating of all mediums to tell them and he ensured that he caught the first day first show most weeks. Not passion and dreaming but knowing that the only thing he wanted to do was writing and directing films, after learning his chops at NYFA, a few short films, and film festival outings, Anosh returned home to Mumbai to tell the stories that he grew up with.

His short films have had a good bout in the film festival circuit route bagging awards for Best Film at Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival & Best Actress at the famous Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. He spent the next 3 years on various feature films with the pioneer filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra – in ideation, development & direction. Following which he worked as an Associate director and an AD on 50+ ad films with renowned filmmakers such as Amit Sharma, Gauri Shinde, Tarun Mansukhani, Rajesh Saathi and many more.

Anosh at Wiz Films brings his sunshine smile along with a wisdom that makes our content that much more engaging.
